A miniature stone cat amulet from the 19th Dynasty of ancient Egypt (c. 1292–1189 BC), the era of Ramesses the Great. Measuring just 17 x 9 mm, this finely carved amulet depicts a seated cat, sacred to the goddess Bastet. Cat amulets were worn as protective talismans and placed among funerary goods to invoke the goddess's protection. The piece is in perfect condition with no repairs or restoration, a testament to the exceptional durability of Egyptian stone carving.
