5. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

All sales are conducted by Klee Collection Ltd Liab Co, Zug, Switzerland. By purchasing an item, the buyer agrees to the following terms:

5.1 Authenticity: All items are sold with a guarantee of authenticity as described. Each piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity where applicable. We guarantee the authenticity of every item for the lifetime of the original purchaser.

5.2 Provenance: We provide provenance information to the best of our knowledge. All items have been legally acquired and comply with applicable cultural heritage laws, including the Swiss Federal Act on the International Transfer of Cultural Property (KGTG/LTBC).

5.3 Prices: All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless otherwise stated. Prices are exclusive of shipping, insurance, and any applicable taxes or customs duties.

5.4 Payment: Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. We accept bank transfer, and other payment methods by prior arrangement.

5.5 Shipping & Insurance: Items are shipped fully insured at the buyer’s expense. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier. We use professional art shipping services for all consignments.

5.6 Returns: Items may be returned within 14 days of receipt if they are not as described, provided they are returned in the same condition as received. The buyer bears the cost of return shipping and insurance.

5.7 Reservation of Title: Ownership of the item does not pass to the buyer until full payment has been received (Eigentumsvorbehalt, Art. 715 ZGB).

6. ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) COMPLIANCE

Klee Collection Ltd Liab Co complies with all applicable Swiss anti-money laundering regulations, including the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act (Geldwäschereigesetz, GwG). For transactions exceeding CHF 15,000, we are required to verify the identity of the buyer in accordance with applicable due diligence obligations. We reserve the right to request identification documents and proof of the source of funds for any transaction.

7. CULTURAL HERITAGE COMPLIANCE

We are committed to ethical dealing in cultural property. All items offered for sale comply with the Swiss Federal Act on the International Transfer of Cultural Property (Kulturgütertransfergesetz, KGTG) and the 1970 UNESCO Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property. We conduct thorough due diligence on the provenance of all items and do not knowingly deal in stolen, illegally excavated, or illegally exported cultural property.

9. APPLICABLE LAW & JURISDICTION

These terms and conditions, as well as any disputes arising from or in connection with this website or any transaction, shall be governed exclusively by the laws of Switzerland. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland.

10. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE

Should any provision of these terms be or become invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
